Gas Tank Glides - Pre-2008

3" stretch direct bolt on tank for 03-07 Fuel Injected, or 96-06 Carbureted Road Glides, Electra Glides or Street Glides, One piece tanks feature a curved bottom for a custom look. Available in 2 widths; 17.5" (approximately 6 gallon capacity), or 20" (approximately 6.5 gallon capacity). Includes raw dash panel that replaces the existing dash. Any aftermarket cap will fit. We recommend PN RWD-0703-0060. Fuel-injected tank accepts the stock O.E.M. fuel- pump assembly and uses a L96-07 vented gas cap. Carbureted tanks include a filler plate/neck assembly and use a L96-07 vented gas cap. These tanks come powder-coated on the inside to ensure a clean sealed surface. There is no need to etch or use any other sealer. Minimal prep work will be needed prior to paint. Requires stock seat modification. Tanks fit with RWD Profile (PN RWD-0804-0247) and Protour (PN RWD-0804-0248) Seats, sold separately. Note: Filler plate on carb tanks may require modifications to reinstall early-style sending unit.
