Our American made leather saddlebags are made to your specifications to work on your Harley-Davidson®, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory, In- dian, and Excelsior Henderson. Home of the Nickel Bag. Philip Thacher opened The Leatherworks in September 1976 in Stockton, CA. He initially manufactured custom handmade sandals, belts, wallets, purses, and other small leather items. No job was too small; he was an artist seeking perfection. One day in the late 1970’s a customer asked Philip to make a set of leather saddlebags for their motorcycle. There is great local controversy as to who has the original set. As time moved forward, word of mouth spread and interest blossomed from single customer orders to opening numerous dealers. It didn’t take long for Philip to realize he needed to expand the line and build his brand. He decided to add Indian Head Nickels as his identifying symbol; besides, he enjoyed the double entendre of the “nickel bag.” Quality Custom & American Made. LW-95 - Wide Glide Toolbag; 5x12x5” round The LW-95 leather tool bag is a round long bag. The bag opens and closes with quick release buckles, which are hid- den under the straps. This leather tool bag is made from our 10 oz leather and won’t break or fall off your motorcycle forcing fellow riders to dodge the flying tools. It is designed for motorcycles with wide front ends and it can attach to the forks un- der the headlight, the handle bars or down by the motor mounts. All straps for attachment are supplied with this leather tool bag. LW-100 - Small Round Toolbag; Narrow Forks 4x10x5” The LW-100 leather tool bag is a short round bag. The bag opens and closes with quick release buckles. This leather tool bag is made from our 10 oz leather and won’t break or fall off your motorcycle forcing fellow riders to dodge the flying tools. The LW-100 leather tool bag is designed for motorcycles with narrow front ends and it attaches to the forks either above or below the headlight, handle bars or down by the motor mounts. All the straps required for attachment to the motorcycle are supplied with the bag.

SOLO BAGS

LW-312L - Chopper S/bag for Softail S/arm LHS 10x11.5x3” The LW-312L leather solo bag is specifically designed to fit on many motorcycles, custom bikes and choppers. It is made to attach to the swing arm or the sideways V that comes off of the axle nut with provided leather belts. It comes with quick release buckles. The LW-312L leather solo bag is customizable. It is de- signed for the left side of motorcycles unless there is a left side mounted license plate. It may also work on the right side if the pipes don’t extend into the wheel well. LW-312XL - Chopper S/bag for Softail S/arm LHS 10x11.5x5” (5” wide) The LW-312XL leather solo bag is specifically designed to fit the swing arm on many motorcycles, custom motorcy- cles and choppers. It is made to attach to the swing arm or the sideways V that comes off the axle nut with the provid- ed leather belts. It comes with quick release buckles. The LW-312XL leather solo bag was designed for the left side of motorcycles unless there is a left side mounted license plate. It may also work on the right side if the pipes do not extend into the wheel well. If when you corner you tend to hit foot pegs, you will hit this bag and cause dam- age.

SOLO BAGS

LW-323L - Chopper S/Bag; V-Rod LHS only 10x11.5x3” The LW-323L leather solo bag is designed to fit the left side frame of V-Rods®. It attaches to the frame with provided straps. Forward controls and the passenger foot peg may need to be removed or relocated. It comes with quick release buckles.

LW-327A - Chopper S/bag for ‘10up FXDWG LHS 11x9x4.5” The LW-327A leather solo bag is designed for the left side of Harley Davidson Dyna Wide Glides. It will fit on the left side of 2010 to present Dyna Wide Glide motorcycles, al- lowing the turn signals and left side mounted license plate to remain in stock location. It comes with all the mounting hardware, patent pending.

SOLO BAGS

LW-327L - Chopper S/Bag for ‘06up FXD LHS 11x11x4.5” (exc ‘08up FXDB) The LW-327L leather solo bag is designed for the left side of Harley Davidson Dyna motorcycles. It will fit the left side of 2006 to present Dyna motorcycles, allowing the turn signals to remain in stock location. It will not work with a detachable back rest or Easy Brackets. It does not fit on 2008+ Street Bobs. Mounting hardware is included. It comes with quick release buckles.

THROWOVER BAGS

LW-401T - S/Bag’ Slight Angle Throwover 12x13.5x6.5” The LW-401T leather saddlebags are part of Leatherworks economy leather saddlebag line. They are made from 8oz leather with the same eye for quality and workmanship as all of our leather saddlebags. The economy line does not offer the customization options of our other bags, but chrome studs may be added. The LW-401T leather saddlebags can be made throw over or bolt on with Easy Brackets or direct bolt on kits.

LW-403T - S/Bag; Wide Angle Throwover 12x14x6.5” The LW-403T leather saddlebags are part of Leatherworks economy leather saddlebag line. They are our largest econ- omy leather saddlebags. They are made from 8oz leather with the same eye for quality and workmanship of all our leather saddlebags. The economy line does not offer the customization options of our other bags, but chrome studs may be added. The LW-403T leather saddlebags can be made throw over or bolt on with Easy Brackets or direct bolt on kits.
