This transmission works in virtually any electric-start, four-speed Big Twin with forward controls (will not work with mid controls). This 5-Speed has a close 2.94:1 ratio 1st gears and stock 1:1 ratio 5th gears. It combines a heavy-duty kicker assembly with the early five-speed end cover and clutch actuation lever, with clutch cable, five-speed shifting mechanism, gears and top cover in a four- speed-sized case.
