NOTES: V96R Gearing must be stock or have an N/V Ratio*lower than stock. A stock non-catalyst exhaust system must be used. The stock evaporative system must be retained and connected to the engine as shown in the manual. S&S® replacement engines are only for use as a replacement engine in 1984-’98 Harley-Davidson motorcycles originally equipped with a carbureted, non-catalyst, big twin Evolution® engine. They may not be used in any new or previously regis- tered custom motorcycles. *Engine rpm divided by miles per hour in top gear. This replacement engine is only legal when used to replace a stock 80" Evolution® engine. CARB compliance stickers must be affixed to frame.

V111C/V124C Vehicles must have a maximum N/V ratio*of no greater than 43.3 for V-Series engines. Maximum vehicle curb mass for V111ci engines is 1058 lbs. Exhaust system selected must create back pressure within the specified limits. Min. 3" H20, Max. 21" H2O Builder must return the included agreement form and required photographs of the vehicle to S&S before a manufacturer’s statement of origin (MSO) for the engine can be issued. Until the MSO is issued, the vehicle is not considered to be certified and the MSO is required to title a custom vehicle. Maximum fuel capacity is five gallons. *Engine rpm divided by miles per hour in top gear.
