Part numbers marked with this logo are legal to be sold for and used as replacement parts on Harley-Davidson® motorcycles in all 50 states. Note: Vehicles 1977 model year and earlier are exempt from emissions regulations. Owners of such vehicles may install any parts desired without concern about violating exhaust emissions regulations. However, local noise ordinances still apply to these vehicles, so the owner of a 1977 or earlier vehicle can still receive a noise citation if the vehicle is too loud.
