S&S manifolds for Buell models are not interchangeable with manifolds for Harley-Davidson® Sportster® models as they position the carburetor about 1⁄4" higher. This change in position will cause misalignment of mounting hardware. S&S style o-rings must be used with these manifolds. S&S o-rings are slightly thinner to accommodate the larger S&S port diameter. Use of stock o-rings may damage the manifold. NOTES
