Product Development

At RSD, product development is a vital part of the business. We take the feedback we get from our customers, obvious products we need to complete bike builds, and our own personal wish lists to guide our new product process. Inside the RSD facility in Los Alamitos, California we conceptualize, design, prototype, test and market our products. We work with only the best manufactures to engineer and produce our products to exceedingly high quality standards. It’s this process and team work that ensures a well-designed, thought-out product, at the highest level of quality.

Motorcycle builds are the number one way we develop product. We never build the same bike twice and this helps to constantly drive innovation. It’s this feedback, coupled with our online community that pushes the design crew. We design something and put it out there, if our customers and fans like it, we’ll put our heads down to perfect it and bring the product to market.

Performance Machine manufactures a large percentage of the RSD product line at their facility in La Palma, Ca.

PM is perhaps one of the few remaining aftermarket CNC manufacturers left in Southern California and is a legend in the V-twin aftermarket. It’s their constant attention to detail and high level of quality that has kept them in the game. It’s an honor to call them a partner. Mustang Seats is a quiet giant in the industry. They efficiently produce the finest seats with steadfast dedication in their CT facility. First impressions when walking into the Mustang facility, it’s like walking into Santa’s workshop with full size people. Hundreds of hands working precisely to mold, cut, sew and craft masterfully assembled saddles for two wheeled machines.

When you think V-twin exhaust, there really is no stronger player than Vance & Hines. With a massive history of two

wheeled racing championships and years of experience fabricating and bending steel tubing, they are without an equal in exhaust evacuation devices. With facilities in Southern California and Indianapolis they are a true American made product. When we say we work with the best we mean it, and Vance & Hines personifies that statement.
