Get the Facts • What model bike do you have? (Softail ® , Dyna ® , Sportster ® , etc.) • Is your bike an original factory Harley-Davidson ® or a Special Construction - an aftermarket? • What year is your bike? • What specific model do you have? (Fat Boy ® , Night Train ® , Wide Glide ® , Low Rider ® , etc.) • What modifications, if any, have been done to your bike? Get Inspired • What style of bike do you like? (Wide Tire, Bobber Style, Long Fender, Short Fender, etc.) • What wheel style do you like? (There are many choices - Solid, Spoke, Billet, etc.) • What are your riding habits? (Solo trips, Touring, with a Passenger, Storage Requirements, etc.) BEFORE YOU GET STARTED

Plan your Bike and choose your accessories • You can do the Bike Conversion yourself, but you don’t have to! • Most HEARTLAND USA ® systems are designed to be an easy install (bolt-on struts, pre-drilled fenders, no drive-train or frame modifications, etc.). • HEARTLAND USA ® provides detailed instructions for all Conversions. • Choose your strut finish (Chrome, Gloss Black, Black Wrinkle, TuxCut). • Choose your light preference (Small or Medium Billet Tears, LED’s in the strut, brake light in the license plate, lighted license plate, etc.). • Do you plan to carry a passenger? If yes, you will need additional parts (Footrests, Second Seat, Ride Rack & Rest, Side Bags, Gear Bag, etc.). • Wheels – many HEARTLAND USA ® Conversions do not require you to change your wheels. If you want to change your wheels or go wider, choose your wheel design. HEARTLAND USA ® has alliances with many premium wheel manufacturers to choose from (pages 58-65). • HEARTLAND USA ® has a One Stop Shop category (shocks, lowering kits, air ride systems, etc.). • It will now be helpful to identify the parts that you want with part numbers. • What options do you want for your bike? (fender length, license plate holder, etc.)
