Heat Barriers

Bodywork Protection Kit DEI has come up with the perfect kit to help protect against excess heat on any powersports vehicle. It includes a combination of DEI’s lightweight, reflec- tive materials perfectly sized for powersports applications. This kit is great for use on fairings, air boxes, seat pans, rear fenders, etc. Installation is easy. All materials have a self-adhesive backing and can be trimmed easily to shape and are designed to form-fit to irregular shapes. Each kit includes: one 12” x 24” DEI Reflect-A-Cool sheet, one 1 ½” x 15ft roll of Cool Tape™, and two 10” x 10” sheets of Extreme Heat Barrier. Under Tank Heat Reflection Kit Hot fuel reduces engine performance, stresses the fuel pump, and can lead to vapor lock. Using race fuel? Race fuel manufacturers recommend using reflective materials to help keep their specialty fuels temperature stable. DEI has come up with an effective kit to help combat this problem. Simply line the underside of your fuel tank with self-adhesive Reflect-A-Cool™ (normal use) or Reflect-A-GOLD™ (extreme use) material and trim to shape. Each kit includes a 24”x 24” sheet of material along with a 1 ½”X 15ft roll of heat reflective tape to cover seems and irregular shapes.

Extreme Heat Barrier™ DEI Extreme Heat Barrier is our most robust thermal protection, providing the best pos- sible heat protection in areas where high temperatures are always present and problematic. Constructed with an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to 1/8” composite glass fiber mat core with a high-temp adhesive backing, its dimpled aluminum surface offers improved reflectivity and rigidity and allows for ease of installation.
