Chubby, Bars by Wild 1, Inc. At 1 1/4" in diameter, Chubby, Bars are 25% thicker than stock and eliminate the wimpy ‘pipe cleaner’ look of standard 1" handlebars. Superior quality made here in the USA, all models have been re-designed with fluid bends at precise angles. Since Wild 1 has re-designed these bars they no longer have dimpled wiring recesses but still work with Original Equipment and custom hand controls. By eliminating the dimples Wild 1 has given you the ability to rotate your hand controls to any position for optimum comfort. Other design changes include providing the clearance necessary to use hydraulic clutch master cylinders. As always all Wild 1 Chubby handlebars come pre-drilled for internal wiring, diamond knurled and feature an unparalleled chrome finish. Road Glide Handlebar Adapter by Wild 1 The stock clamping system on the 2015 Road Glides only allows for installation of the OEM handlebars. The clamping area is 1-1/4“ diameter, the electrical exit hole is pointed towards the front and there is a locator pin in the riser body that limits adjustability of the handlebars forward and back. Every aftermarket handlebar out there has the wire hole pointed towards the bottom. So Wild 1 fixed this problem by creating a clamping system out of T6061 billet aluminum for strength. The clamping area is for 1“ diameter and they let the wire exit hole be where it should be, at the bottom.
