Assist locks the throttle in 1/4 turn. Provides nearly double the vertical action when compared to the stock star wheel. Throttle still operable when Cruise-Mate is set. If you can drill and tap a straight hole you won’t need the installation kit, if you’re not confident you can drill and tap accurately we strongly recommend you purchase the installation kit which includes jig to guide drill and tap straight. SPECIAL NOTE FOR 2008 OR NEWER TOURING MODELS AND SOFTAILS WITH ELECTRONIC THROTTLE (TBW): Installation kit required for all 2008-2013 Touring Models and 2015 or newer Softails with electronic throttle.
